ByteSnap Design is sponsoring two charities during 2016.
Cystic Fibrosis is one of the UK’s most common life-threatening inherited diseases. It affects around 10,000 in the UK and 100,000 worldwide.
The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the UK’s only national charity dedicated to all aspects of Cystic Fibrosis (CF). They fund research to treat and cure CF and aim to ensure appropriate clinical care and support for people with Cystic Fibrosis.
Over the last 50 years, median survival rates for sufferers have risen from 5 years to 41 years. Experts attribute this to improved treatment, however more research and funding is urgently needed.
You can find out more by visiting the CF Trust’s website at www.cftrust.org.uk.
The Crohn’s in Childhood Research Association (CICRA) is the other charity we are pleased to sponsor this year.
CICRA works tirelessly to promote a wider understanding of Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis, and to help children and young adults who are affected.
It raises funds to support approved medical and scientific research aimed at finding more effective treatments and an eventual cure.
Support and understanding is given to parents and carers of children and teenagers through the many people working with CICRA who have been through the same experience.
