As we wrap up 2025, we reflect on a year that marked a significant milestone as we celebrated our 17th anniversary. The genuine trust you’ve placed in us has driven remarkable growth – a 13% increase in turnover and major new contracts across security and defence, medical, and automotive sectors.

Spring
Seventeen Years of Partnership
In January, we marked 17 years of delivering embedded systems excellence.
This milestone belongs as much to you – our customers, suppliers, and design partners – as it does to us. Your continued support and collaboration have been instrumental in shaping ByteSnap Design into the trusted partner we are today.
Industry Recognition and Thought Leadership
In March, our Director Dunstan Power once again joined the judging panel for the Electronics Excellence Awards (hosted by Electronics Specifier), reinforcing our commitment to recognising innovation across the industry.
Addressing Manufacturing's Critical Challenge: Futureproofing (Whitepaper)
In April, we released our whitepaper ‘Futureproofing Manufacturing’. Based on extensive research from nearly 600 industry professionals and client feedback, this report tackles one of the most pressing concerns we’ve heard from manufacturers: how to protect your products and supply chains from obsolescence and disruption in an increasingly uncertain market.
SnapPro IQ Launched: Taking Control of Your IP
April saw the launch of SnapPro IQ, our cloud-based tool for IP protection and remote manufacturing management. The platform was developed to address customer concerns around IP protection during production, particularly when working with contract manufacturers overseas.
Hardware Pioneers 2025
Alongside this, we exhibited at Hardware Pioneers 2025, where Dunstan was interviewed by Electronics Weekly and EPDT about SnapPro IQ, sharing insights into how this platform is helping manufacturers safeguard their IP and streamline production testing.
Summer
Design Engineering Expo 2025
We returned to the NEC in June for Design Engineering Expo, where we once again demonstrated our capabilities in IoT innovation and IP protection.
Team Building for Better Service
In August, we had our Summer day trip to Drayton Manor. Despite the characteristically British weather, both ByteSnap Design and Versinetic teams proved that a bit of rain can’t dampen our spirits.
Autumn
OMaaS: Proactive Protection for Your Supply Chain
In October, we launched Obsolescence Management as a Service (OMaaS) in direct response to the growing obsolescence crisis affecting manufacturers worldwide. This subscription service provides continuous component lifecycle monitoring and strategic BOM health management, helping you avoid costly production disruptions before they happen.
Engineering Design Show 2025
At EDS 2025 in October, we introduced OMaaS on our stand and showcased the Inductosense WAND HDC system, demonstrating our industrial IoT engineering capabilities.
Our Director Dunstan Power also participated in two panel discussions: “Breaking the Reactive Cycle: Strategic Approaches to Component Obsolescence Management” and the “Supply Chain Security Panel – discussing resilience in an era of tariffs and uncertainty.”
These sessions reflected the real concerns we’re hearing from customers each week.
Joint Foodbank Drive
In November we were proud to join forces with Versinetic to support B30 Foodbank ahead of the festive season. Together we organised an early Christmas food collection – ordering a large delivery to the office and inviting our teams to add to it throughout the week.
