ByteSnap Design’s technical innovation earned it a Highly Commended accolade at the British Engineering Excellence Awards – the only finalist to receive this commendation from the judges.
The Finalists gala was held in London yesterday.
Shortlisted for ‘Consultancy of the Year’ two years’ running, judges at the BEEA recognised ByteSnap’s excellence in embedded systems development for its work re-designing electric vehicle charge posts for the London 2012 Olympic Games.
ByteSnap Director Dunstan Power was honoured and delighted by the award. “We are proud that the judges recognised our design team’s work,” he said. “This wasn’t just about electronic design or embedded systems – we were up against competition from all types of engineering disciplines and this acknowledgement highlights our growth and success over the past twelve months.”
